ABOUT THE PROJECT

Latin American policy expert Shannon O'Neil needed a central space for collecting and publishing her essays, articles, and analysis on the region. She also required a central space to collect and spotlight a fast-growing number of press appearances.

The solution: a flexible Wordpress-powered blog designed and customized by Tierra that allows Shannon to post and update regularly, with minimal effort on her part.

In addition to standard blogging tools, the site features a rotating set of header images culled from flickr to represent a people-centered — rather than government or corporate — view of political affairs, an interactive map that provides an additional way to access regional topics, and sharing functionality.
