From one coast to the other, people are talking about POETRY, the iPhone app that we designed and built for the Poetry Foundation. Here’s the latest:

The New York Times’ Bob Tedeschi recommends killing time by consuming poetry in bite-sized pieces.

And! The Seattle Times urges young folks to help old folks geek out this holiday season, by loading their devices with apps they’ll loveā€”like POETRY.

POETRY app Wins Silver W3 Award

W3 AwardThe W3 Awards announced its 2010 winners and The Poetry Foundation’s POETRY app, designed and built by Tierra, won silver in the Education and Reference & eBooks categories!

Thanks to the International Academy of the Visual Arts for taking a shine to our work.

The Poetry Foundation app in The New York Times!

The Poetry Foundation partnered with us to design and develop an iPhone app that would act as a mobile database of poems. Shortly after launch, POETRY was featured as “New and Noteworthy” lifestyle software in Apple’s app store, and was the sixth most popular app in its category! Last week, the app was reviewed by The New York Times both online and in print. Read the article.
